The problems presented in the following questions deal with the subject of analogies which as a word means partial likeness or agreement. Analogies can also be defined as the comparison between two entities to demonstrate the similarities between them.

 

Directions : Each of the problems carries two analogies in the form of A is to B as C is to D. A is related to B in the same way as C is related to D. The places of A, B, C and D (in the sentences) are occupied by four different words forming two pairs, each of which presents a relationship.
